During the Board meeting of 23 October 2008, the Board of Directors elected the following officers:

• Chairman: Jean-Jacques Antelme (Caisse d’Epargne),
• Vice-Chairman: Laurent Jullien (Bouygues Telecom),
• Treasurer: Daniel Savoyen (Crédit Agricole).

The association is managed by:

• an operations director with responsibility for governance (steering committees, Board of Directors, General Meeting), representation, reporting, administrative matters, etc. He is also the association spokesperson.
• a project director with responsibility for project supervision (including (marketing, technical, regulatory, legal, and security projects, etc.),
• a team of service providers responsible for developing specifications consistent with contributions by all industry experts,
• about thirty experts from banks and operators responsible for contributing their know-how to projects.

These experts are assigned to about ten working groups to:

• finalise all aspects of the specifications (and ensuring their functional, technical and security upgrades),
• make sure these specifications reflect the latest security standards,
• maintain a close dialogue with the international Visa and MasterCard networks,
• broaden field trials and gather an increasing volume of concrete results, etc.
